Business Analyst - Retail
Yómarí is a small but fast growing dynamic company that focuses exclusively in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence consulting for large retailers. We are currently looking for motivated Business Analysts who want to be a part of a fast-paced seasoned team of BI professionals working with clients to facilitate the design, development and implementation of successful Enterprise Data Warehouse systems. A Business Analyst is responsible for assisting clients with the functional analysis of their retail systems during the implementation and ongoing support processes by applying a strong combined knowledge of the retail industry and Oracle Retail software functionality.
A Business Analyst is responsible to :
- Act as an advisor to educate clients and business users about system functionality and provide coaching for business process team leads
- Define system configuration requirements, identify gaps, and recommend system modifications and processes to satisfy business requirements
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of and have the ability to communicate functional capabilities and integration points of the Oracle Retail applications including a detailed understanding of the following retail concepts: merchandising, inventory management, warehouse management, store operations, planning/forecasting, replenishment, and pricing
- Define project objectives and scope, along with integration alternatives
- Analyze and document "As Is" business processes and develop "To Be" processes
- Document functional requirements for modifications and support design processes
Requirements :
- Demonstrated understanding of Oracle Retail solution functional concepts, integration points, and functional application knowledge
- Experience in the definition of business processes and improvements
- Ability to identify and proactively solve issues
- Strong client negotiation and demonstrated consulting skills
- Experience with financial responsibility, as related to overall project budget and timelines
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a small dynamic organization
- Maintain a professional and strong interpersonal approach when dealing with internal and external customers, including clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Travel Required: 80-100%
